Arizona-based artist Lauren Cummings paints in oil on wood panel and canvas. Initial explorations of the spiritual landscape began during a summer semester in Japan while pursuing a BFA in Painting from the Tyler School of Art (‘18). Her paintings are soaked in saturation, exuding a feral dreamscape that comes from radical presence and visceral memory. Her work has exhibited notably in the Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Show in Philadelphia, PA, and most recently in Prescott, AZ, for the 2025 Prescott Summer Fine Arts Fest. Lauren currently maintains an active studio practice at the Jerome Art Center.
