My practice with landscape is rooted in vulnerability. Alone in wild spaces, merging with the physical environment as the sludgy buildup of human chaos melts from my circumference…observing, melting, breathing, and melting again. The sounds of birds speaking in their tongues, crispy brush creaking as lizards jolt, turquoise skies bleaching desert hills. Accepting every memory that passes behind my eyes that see a hundred birds taking turns at water’s edge in their own systematic way. Finding the ecstasy of life through radical presence.
